Enchanted Forest Nursery first opened its Erskine doors in 2006, as part of their continual drive for improvement, Mariessa and Bernie Devlin are delighted to have invested in a new property right next door to their first nursery. The new nursery opened on 8th January 2018 and has been purposefully designed with little people in mind. The nursery benefits from vast amounts of natural light and children can benefit from low level windows that lovingly link their playrooms allowing them to observe their friends at play.
The staff and children at Enchanted Forest Erskine have settled into their new nursery and have been joined by many new families. The nursery benefits from a large natural outdoor play area which can be accessed from the toddler and pre-school playrooms. Independence is promoted throughout the nursery with toilet and changing facilities directly accessed from the playrooms.
Louise Stringer who was worked for Enchanted Forest since 2006 when it originally opened commented ‘I was a little apprehensive about leaving our original setting, but as the Baby Department Team Leader, I have settled in well to my new working environment and I love the bright and spacious playrooms which present great spaces for babies to grow.’
Mariessa Devlin, Managing Director, comments ‘Our lease with Erskine Home was coming to an end, so it was important for us to find the right building where we could continue to offer Early Learning and Childcare for our existing families as well as retain employment for our staff team. In the new nursery, we have created an amazing place for our children who have thankfully settled in really well. We would like to thank our families for their patience during our move and a special thanks to our staff for helping in the transition to our new nursery. We are really proud of the new environment we have created for our families and staff.’
