Enchanted Forest Nursery opened its doors in June 2006 as the first private nursery in Erskine. From small beginnings of having 5 children registered on Day 1, we have gone from strength to strength and continuously strive on a daily basis to improve the services we provide.
‘Word of Mouth’ has worked wonders for Enchanted Forest Nursery and has placed us in the words of parents as a ‘home from home’ and 'extended family' for all children as well as their families. Our low staff turn-over is testament that Enchanted Forest Nursery is also a ‘great’ place to work. In October 2009, we have achieved a Level 1 Pass in ISO 9001 Quality Management System. ISO 9001 is an internationally-recognised standard for quality management, ensuring that we have proven processes in place to meet the requirements of our parents and children. Only 5% of businesses in the United Kingdom have achieved this standard and very few nurseries! We take our social responsibility seriously and as such Enchanted Forest Nursery operates as an Eco School. We assist many charities locally including, Cash for Kids, Comic Relief, and Children in Need. We engage our families in charity work, namely with SOS Mauritius, which provides homes for children in Mauritius who have no biological families. Our support to SOS Mauritius is a great example of Enchanted Forest Nursery and our families working together for a common good.

We request that fees are paid monthly in advance. Please contact the Nursery Manager for payment options and fee rates.
Enchanted Forest Nursery closes between Christmas and New Year to allow for essential maintenance each year, as well as giving our staff some well-earned rest. Sickness or absence from the nursery does not qualify for a reduction on fees.
Enchanted Forest Nursery takes great care and pride in the staff we employ. All staff have completed Enhanced Disclosure Scotland checks, medical references and have valid references from previous employers. Staff are either registered or in the process of registering with the Scottish Social Services Council. It is the duty of our staff to provide the best possible care for each child and family. We feel proud of our low staff turnover and the fact that our staff are happy in their role – they enjoy what they do and our staff are the key to the success of Enchanted Forest Nursery......
We are registered with the Scottish Care Commission who regulate and inspect all care services. The Care Commission inspect our services on an annual unannounced basis, at Enchanted Forest Nursery, we value their feedback. We follow their guidance as outline in the National Care Standards and adhere to the following ratios.
Enchanted Forest Nursery operates above the ratio requirements as stated by the Care Commission in a bid to enhance the quality of care we provide.

Enchanted Forest Nursery, Erskine, is located in the tranquil and scenic grounds of Erskine Hospital Estate. A quiet setting, with accommodation, that has been purposefully renovated to fulfil the needs of a children’s nursery. Squirrels, rabbits and other wildlife can often be seen from the nursery windows. A secure outdoor play area is located to the side of the nursery. We are registered with the Scottish Care Commission to care for 63 children each day. We work in partnership with Renfrewshire Council and can provide Scottish Goverment funded places for 3-5 year olds.

Located in an ideal setting, with private, off-road parking, as well as a large and secure outdoor spongy play area. Our accommodation is a new building that has been purposefully redesigned with children in mind. The nursery is located in close proximity to Rouken Glen Park and also proves as a great location for commuters being close to the M77 and near to Silverburn Shopping Centre.
