Babies/Toddlers:
Babies/Toddlers will be offered experiences that help them begin to learn positively and foster a sense of awareness of the world around them. Learning will focus on play opportunities. Heuristic play opportunities will be provided to allow for active exploration and discovery. Staff will closely follow Scottish Executive guidance in the ‘Birth to Three, Supporting our Youngest Children’ document.

3 – 5s:
Our 3 to 5 years olds will follow a curriculum based on planned and child-centred activities and experiences that will enrich and promote individual development. Learning through play, will remain a key focus. Staff will closely follow the Scottish Executive ‘Curriculum Framework for Children 3 – 5’ guidelines. The following key curriculum aspects will be integrated into daily life in our nursery:
